Our Booking Policy
Thank you for your booking we look forward to welcoming you to The Merrymoor
for your stay, our vision for over 60 years has always been to create
a relaxing break for our guests. As such we accommodate our guests with
a practical and experienced approach and with only a few conditions to
ensure holidays are enjoyed by all, these are;
Room Bookings
We are unable to cater for large group bookings.
Minimum Stay
Bookings are taken for a minimum stay of 2 nights during the high season,
we will take shorter bookings where availability allows. Please contact
us to discuss.
Dogs
One dog is welcome in each guest room at a charge of £5 per night .Please
ensure you take your dog with you when you go out , there are lots of
dog friendly places to visit.
Smoking
We thank you for not smoking inside The Merrymoor, smoking extinguisher
bins are situated outside the building. A surcharge of £50 will be applied
to any room bill where a guest has smoked in the bedroom.
Deposit
A non refundable deposit equivalent to a 1 nights stay is required to
secure your booking. The balance of your stay is payable on departure.
Where a guest wishes to change their booking to alternative dates the
deposit will be transferred.
In the event of cancellation within 21 days of arrival, guests are required
to make full payment unless the room is successfully re- booked. We therefore
recommend taking out holiday cancellation insurance.
Check in
Your room will be ready from 3.30pm on arrival and we request you check
out at 10.30am on departure day.
